Fixed extinguishing systems do not replace automatic sprinklers.

The fire protection system (automatic sprinklers) protects the container, and the content is protected by a fixed extinguishing system.

Replacement of Halon Extinguishers

Be aware that the law prohibits the refilling of cylinders containing halocarbons / halons and that a spill in the liquid state of more than 25 kg must be declared to the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment and the Fight against climate change.

Extinguishers with 60 > charge < 275 kg January 1, 2008
Extinguishers with ≥ 275 kg charge January 1, 2010

Note : A fixed extinguisher may be charged temporarily with a CFC for a maximum period of one year (sec. 35).
